Subject: The Long, Disgraceful History of American Attacks on Brown and Black Women’s Reproductive Systems
Aloha Ms. Lennard:
May I suggest that one view, for argument’s sake, these attacks and restrictions as “badges” and/or “incidents” of slavery as forbidden in the 13th amendment in the sense that they restrict freedoms in the same way that slavery would have i.e. “You mus have massa’s permission in order to do X.” Taken individually one isn’t enslaved, but cumulatively they act like a slave code for those who were unfree during the time when slavery was legal–non-white, non-male, non-propertied. Is the parallel 100%, no but few parallels are 100%. “From above” white men’s freedom unrestricted, non-whites non-men freedoms are restricted. I have not perfected the argument nor assembled the evidence but my instincts tell me the parallels of “unfreedom” are profound.

Totalitarian CCP-run PRC will militarize everything that can be? Why? Not to play nice for sure.

Start a death count card for each of these individuals. they are promoters of war crimes and murder as “foreign policy”. They are violent interventionists who wish to spread an “economic” religion called “American Capitalism” around the world. They are violent criminals as they will use armies to force ideas on others.
The new badges of slavery are things like this… forcing you to make an “in-person” visit in order to obtain medication. That’s stealing your time. Call it a “time-tax”. Call it unconstitutional badges or incidents of slavery.

In the latest addition to the Supreme Court’s coronavirus docket, the justices will have to decide whether to preserve a district court’s order that makes it easier for patients to access medical abortions during the pandemic. The district court blocked the Trump administration from enforcing federal regulations that require patients to make an in-person visit to a medical provider in order to obtain a pill that is used to induce abortions. The administration filed an emergency request asking the Supreme Court to reinstate the in-person requirement, and on Tuesday, physicians’ groups filed a brief opposing the request. Amy Howe has all the details on the case in a story for SCOTUSblog (that was first published at Howe on the Court).
