I ceased giving the article any credibility when I came upon the term “haggling”. The counterpoint between the worshipful phrase “$1 billion warship” and the dismissive phrase “haggling” over torture-obtained statements” told me enough about the author to not worry that I’d be missing anything by skipping the story.

Recall The deeply evil Judge David Sentelle [mentioned in the article] appointed the deeply hypocritical Ken Starr. There are monsters on the bench who countenance torture by upholding what they call law [like “lynch law”] over obvious justice [no torture, or anything resembling torture or that could be mistaken for torture at a distance].
